Dozens of Iranian militiamen were killed and wounded on Sunday when unidentified aircraft targeted their locations in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Local sources said that unidentified aircraft bombed Iranian militia sites in the vicinity of Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.
The sources added that dozens of Iranian militiamen were killed in the bombing.
Relatedly, on Saturday unidentified aircraft bombed Iranian militia sites in the town of Al-Abbas west of Albukamal, killing and injuring many militiamen.
The bombing comes a day after the visit of the Qods Force's new leader, Ismael Qaan, who visited the city of Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.
