A leader in the Free Syrian Army revealed the truth of reconciliations which some civilians concluded with the Syrian regime in the governorate of Daraa, whether overtly or covertly, indicating that the disagreements between the factions are one of the most important reasons of these reconciliations.
Raed Nasrallah, the leader in the commandos affiliated to the Free Army, said in a private speech with Baladi News: "there is a tendency towards reconciliations among civilians who have become very poor and believed that the revolution achieved nothing but destruction and in which the ignorant turned into a commander and the blood trafficker into a religious preacher".
Nasrallah pointed out that accepting the truce by the leaders of the factions and stopping the opening of new fronts have put everyone under suspicion. Unfortunately, the Free Army in Daraa is the one who has driven the people to this situation and I'm sorry for saying this because I'm a leader in the Free Army".
Concerning the reason behind stopping the battels against regime forces on the fronts of Daraa and if the decision was internal or external, Nasrallah said: "Our interest has become collecting money and enjoying the pleasures of life in Daraa. The commander is the one who leads the battel from the battlefield not from the hotels in Amman. MOC (Military Operations Center) provided a lot of weapons, material and ammunitions, but the personal goals and disagreements over the position and authority have driven us to this situation along with the presence of hidden bodies from the outside which have impact on some leaders of the Free Army".
"Our preoccupation has become the members of "ISIS" under internal and external pressure, but this is not a pretext as we have legions of armies in Houran, but unfortunately we see them only when disagreements happen among the factions, and there is no justification for stopping the battels".
Regarding the assassinations against some factions' leaders in Daraa, the leader confirmed that the regime, personal disagreements and ISIS are behind them, excluding that the liquidations were committed by orders from the external intelligence services.
The leader noted that the fronts of Daraa will witness surprises in the coming days and there will be a turning point in the southern part of Syria.
He concluded: "No one can bury the future of the Syrian revolution in the south as it's a divine revolution as he considered. Even if the victory is late, but hope springs eternal".
