The Syrian regime has cut off the internet connection two days ago in al-Suwayda governorate following the state of popular rage in the governorate in addition to the rebellion carried out by the detainees of the city's central prison.
Baladi News correspondent in al-Suwayda, Omar al-Jabali, reported in a phone call through the Jordanian lines network that the regime has cut off the internet connection in the whole governorate aiming at disconnecting it from the outside world and hushing up on the state of popular rage in the city and inside the prison.
The detainees of the central prison of al-Suwayda had carried out a rebellion last Friday after the regime's decision to transfer a number of prisoners to Damascus in order to be executed.
Private sources from the prison reported to Baladi News that "this rebellion has ended with the prisoners' control over the prison, while the regime's security forces stormed into the prison and fired shots at the prisoners in addition to tear gas bombs which led to killing 10 prisoners and wounding several others".
In the same context, dozens of families staged a sit-in in front of al-Saraya building in the governorate last Thursday after calls by the youth of al-Suwayda in protest against the death of a young man who was shot dead by one of the thugs' members, as they demanded the prosecution of the murderer and his execution by the presence of a number of the governorate's dignitaries. However, the regime is procrastinating as the murderer belongs to its thugs in the governorate.
Local sources reported to Baladi News that members of the military security branch headed by the brigadier general, Wafeeq Naser, have opened fires against the families demonstrating in front of the building who called for delivering the murderer and executing him.
The families stormed into al-Saraya building around 4 o'clock to find that the governor of al-Suwayda had fled which aroused their anger, then they headed to the criminal security branch who asked them to go to the gallows square to execute the death sentence against the murderer affiliated to the national defense militia.
The governorate of al-Suwayda has recently witnessed several protests on the backdrop of the arbitrary practices by the security branches of the regime and the thugs such as kidnapping, killing and arresting, which the regime responded to by sometimes opening fires or threatening to arrest at other times.
