It seems that Assad's supporters are unconsciously aware of the truth of their "valiant army" and the "wisdom of their leadership" in managing the situation and achieving tactical victories. So every time their areas are attacked by the rebels, they reach a state of wishful thinking and pray for any possible damage to be inflicted on the Russian ally, so it will ignite its anger to avenge them achieving what they failed to do.
Dozens of Assad's soldiers sacrificed their lives for him in the day that is supposed to be their army's "71" anniversary and were completely ignored by the media, not to mention losing dozens of strategic sites in the early hours of the battel of breaking the siege of Aleppo. It was not long till pro-regime media started to circulate the news of the Russian crashed helicopter as if they were saying: "Here comes the relief".
The pro-Assad news agency "SANA" rushed unusually to report the news of shooting down the Russian helicopter for its followers, stressing that it was on a "humanitarian mission", adopting the story of the Russian Ministry of Defense as if it's saying to its audience of supporters "Don't worry, Putin will be angry soon and will burn the ground under their feet".
"Sharief Shihada", the former member of the Assad's parliament and one of its media mouthpieces, said on his personal page on Facebook: "I think before downing the Russian helicopter in the countryside of Aleppo is nothing like after it, so wait and see". He added in another post: "My advice to the opposition terrorists is to fear the Russians when they are calm".
The journalist Ali Ibrahim from the city of Idlib says that at the time Assad's and his supporters are supposed to celebrate the "army's anniversary" which is due on Monday, they have been busy sanctifying the crew of the Russian helicopter and grieving over them for previously knowing that their "army" members are not but scapegoats for Assad, who can be rewarded with a wall clock. The journalist confirms in his speech with Baladi News that it's normal for Assad's and his supporters to rejoice at the news of downing the helicopter or any other damage inflicted by the rebels on the Russians, and being certain that they were to perish without the Russian intervention, especially that the previous facts proved the inability of Assad and his allies to bury the Syrian revolution.
Ibrahim pointed out that "Assad didn't hesitate to provide everything to the Russians, starting from women and prostitution under the name of "Giving" till reaching territory and sky, therefore, let's not wonder the "Immorality" of Assad's and his sect media".
