14 civilians were killed and several others wounded on Thursday by an aerial bombardment on many areas in the eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
Tarik Khawam, Baladi News correspondent, said that 9 civilians, including children and women were killed and many others wounded as a result of several airstrikes launched by regime forces on the city of Duma in the eastern Ghouta, while 3 civilians were killed, including a child and a woman due to a bombardment by regime's warplanes on the town of Housh Nasri in the eastern Ghouta. Moreover, 2 civilians were killed and several others wounded, including volunteers in the civil defense by airstrikes on the town of al-Rihan near Duma.
In the same context, regime's warplanes have launched several airstrikes on the towns of Maydaa, al-Maydaani, Misraba, and al-Shifonia in the eastern Ghouta concurrently with the artillery and missile bombardment, while clashes between the rebels and regime forces are taking place on the outskirts of the town of Jisreen in an attempt by the latter to advance in al-Ghouta.
In the western countryside of Damascus, regime's helicopters bombarded the city of Darayya with several barrel bombs, while clashes between the rebels and regime forces have continued on the outskirts of the city.
