In barrel-bombs shelling by the Syrian regime forces on the liberated parts of Aleppo city and its countryside on Thursday, twenty four civilians died and 27 others were wounded and taken to make-shift hospitals.
Baladi News reporter in Aleppo, Ziad al-Halabi, said that two barrel-bombs were dropped near al-Jilani’s mosque as well as the main street in al-Saliheen neighborhood, which killed 15 civilians and wounded 15 others.
Also, 8 civilians died and 12 others were wounded after dropping a barrel-bomb on al-Mashhad neighborhood, and the civil defence team are still working on extricating the injured trapped under the rubble. Meanwhile, a civilian was killed in artillery shelling on Mare’ in Aleppo northern countryside.
The regime air forces also fired missiles at the neighborhoods of al-Sukkari, Masaken al-Firdous, al-Maghayer, al-Kallasa, and al-Sakhour, whereas helicopters dropped two barrel-bombs on the forensics center in Aleppo, which destroyed all its machines and equipment and caused it to go almost out of service, because it was targeted twice in two days.
On the other hand, the Syrian regime air forces conducted an airstrike on Kafr Hamra, Al-Layramoun, Handarat camp, al-Mallah, and al-Khalidiyyah factories north from Aleppo and the towns of Kafr Halab and al-Atarib west from Aleppo, meanwhile two barrel-boms hit Castello road in the north.
