Many areas in the country have witnessed a bloody day yesterday due to the massacres committed by regime forces and their allies which claimed the lives of dozens of civilians in Al-Rastan and Idlib and other areas, whereas the rebels advanced on the strategic front of Al-Mallah north of Aleppo in order to re-open the road of "Al-Castello", the lifeline of the liberated areas in Aleppo and its countryside.
In Aleppo, Russian warplanes have targeted the villages and towns of "Hayyan, Kafr Hamra, Al-Mallah, Maarat Al-Arteek, Al-Lermoun, Haritan, and Babies" in the northern countryside, while the warplanes targeted with stereochemistry missiles "Masaken Hanano, Al-Jaloom, Al-Shakeif, Bani Zaeid" which left behind material damages only.
Russian warplanes have targeted with an airstrike the region of Al-Lermoun which led to a destruction in Al-Tawabeen mosque and increasing the death toll to 3 and wounding many others.
The helicopters have dropped barrel bombs Wednesday's afternoon on the city of Kafr Hamra in the northern countryside which resulted in material losses only, whereas international coalition warplanes launched several raids on the city of Manbij in the eastern countryside with no information about the extent of damages.
On the military level, violent clashes took place on Tuesday night between the rebels from Aleppo's conquest operation room and regime forces on the axes of "Al-Breij, Talet Al-Mayyasat, and Al-Mallah" in an attempt by the rebels to advance. These clashes were coincided with intensified airstrikes by the Russian warplanes, in addition to missile and artillery bombardment between the two parties. Consequently, rebels have managed to advance after hours of clashes on the axis of "Al-Mayyasat" and controlling "Talet Al-Mayyasat" along with killing about 40 members from regime forces and wounding many others as well as damaging a number of military vehicles and cannons. Rebels have also managed to advance on the axis of "Al-Mallah" and liberated several strategic points along with damaging several armored vehicles and killing 25 members of regime forces as well as wounding others. Due to the severe aerial and artillery bombardment, the rebels were forced to withdraw from the areas they have liberated on Wednesday morning on "Al-Mallah" axis, while "Talet Al-Mayyasat" is still under the control of the rebels.
There had been violent clashes between the rebels and regime forces on "Al-Khaldiya" front coincided with fierce artillery bombardment between the two parties. The Defense Brigades in Aleppo's conquest operation room have managed to kill 10 members of regime forces while trying to advance and infiltrate on the front and areas of the rebels.
Rebels have announced on Wednesday night destructing 130 cannons for the regime forces on the hill of Sheikh Yusuf east of Aleppo after being targeted by a Cornet missile.
In Idlib, 18 civilians were killed, including 5 children and dozens wounded as a result of regime's bombardment on Wednesday the market of the city of Ariha in addition to houses of civilians with three stereochemistry missiles, where working on pulling out the trapped out of the rubble continued to late hours of the day. Civil defense teams have managed to pull out the body of 8-months baby girl. In the same context, 7 civilians were wounded, including 4 children and two women as a result of Russian warplanes bombardment with cluster missiles the neighborhoods of the city of Binnish east of Idlib. In another context, Russian warplanes have targeted the outskirts of the city of Maraat Masrien, Harshi al-Sheikh Bahar, and Kafr Bani north of Idlib with several airstrikes with no causalities reported.
In a separate context, a girl was killed and many others wounded due to the explosion of an explosive device in the town of Talmnes east of Maarrat al-Nu'man in the southern countryside of Idlib. Regime's helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the village of Al-Najia west of Jisr al-Shughur which resulted in material damages. An artillery bombardment has reached the neighborhoods of the town on al-Tamaniaa in the southern countryside of Idlib with no casualties reported.
In a related context, regime's warplanes "Ilyushin " have dropped parachuting baskets, believed to be carrying ammunitions and weapons, on their besieged forces inside the pro town of Al-Fu'ah north of Idlib, concurrently with Jaish al-Fatah's bombardment on the town with missile shells.
At the center of the country, in Homs, 20 civilians were killed on Wednesday in the city of al-Rastan in the northern countryside of Homs, where the regime has targeted a market on the outskirts of the city of al-Rastan by 3 airstrikes which led to the death of 16 civilians, including women and wounding more than 30 others. 3 civilians were also killed, including two women in a missile attack on the city of al-Rastan on Wednesday morning. Moreover, regime forces shelled the city of Talbiseh with more than ten airstrikes which led to some injuries and massive destruction in the residential buildings. Warplanes have also launched two airstrikes on the village of al-Zafarana leaving behind material damages only. Regime forces shelled the city of Talbiseh with artillery and missile launchers from three axes leading to the death of a person from the city of al-Rastan.
In Hama, rebels have controlled on Wednesday morning Jadrien checkpoint in the southern countryside of Hama which is located near the village of Jadrien and they also seized a tank, medium weapons and ammunitions, in addition to killing 7 members and wounding others from regime forces and their allied militias.
In the same context, the rebels have targeted with mortars and locally-manufactured missiles regime forces on the fronts of Harbanafseh and Al-Zarah concurrently with bombardment on the villages of Harbanafseh and Al-Zarah.
In the south of the country, in Daraa, 3 people were killed due to the explosion of an explosive device on the road of western al-Gharia at the time where the neighborhood of Al-Machia in Daraa al-Balad has witnessed clashes between regime forces and the rebels. The clashes included mortar shelling on the neighborhoods of Tareek al-Sad and the displaced camp in Daraa al-Mahtah.
In another context, activists have made a protest stand against the Israeli incursions into Syrian territories, while the FSA factions issued a statement condemning the Israeli incursion into Syrian territories demanding the Arab League and Security Council to deter such attacks.
In the countryside of the capital, two civilians were killed and many others injured, including three civil defense members in the town of al-Chifonia in the eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside, while several civilians were wounded in the town of Qudsaya in the western countryside of Damascus following clashes between the rebels and militias of National Defense.
In details, warplanes stepped up their airstrikes on the city of Duma and its outskirts, which resulted in the death of two civilians and wounding many others, including members of the civil defense in the town of al-Chifonia near the city of Duma, while civilians were injured due to several airstrikes on al-Marj area and the town of Al-Miedani and the outskirts of the town al-Mieda and Hazrma.
In the western countryside of Damascus, several civilians were wounded after clashes between the rebels and militias of national defense on the axes of the displaced neighborhood and juveniles' prison, and that on the background of injuring one person from the town of Qudsaya with a sniper's bullet.
In the capital Damascus, the street of 29 May has been cut in the direction connecting the arenas of"Yusuf Al-Azmah" and "al-Saba3 Bahraat" amidst Damascus without knowing the reason.
Whereas in the southern part of Damascus, Jaish al-Islam has announced killing one of the princes of "ISIS" in al-Yarmouk camp who is called "Abu Bakir Al-Amni" after targeting him with a sniper's bullet.
