Regime forces and their allied militias continue monitoring Al-Castello road north of Aleppo and cutting it by snipers amidst attempts to advance and cut the entire road, while the rebels are launching a counter-attack aiming at restoring Al-Mallah farms which the regime forces advanced into last Thursday, exploiting the alleged truce announced by the regime during Eid al-Fitr and which was welcomed by the rebels.

Local sources have reported to Baladi News that violent clashes broke out among the rebels' factions, regime forces and their supporting militias a few kilometers from Al-Castello road, which is considered the only lifeline for the liberated neighborhoods of Aleppo along with the liberated areas in the northern part of Syria.

"The rebels have targeted the regime's strongholds with heavy machine guns, artillery shells and tanks until today's dawn, while the rebels-held areas are being subjected to bombardment by the regime's warplanes and helicopters", the sources added.

The sources noted that the mosque's bloc and several points in its surrounding are still under the control of the regime's militias which are monitored by snipers parts of Al-Castello road from a distance of 2 kilometers.

The sources also confirmed that Al-Castello road is closed off to civilians due to the bombardment and direct targeting by regime forces and their allied militias.

In the same context, regime's warplanes bombarded the city of Haritan and the town of Kafr Hamra which resulted in material damages. The warplanes also targeted the towns of Einjara and Hour with an airstrike using stereochemistry missiles which led to a massive destruction with no casualties reported.
