Jaysh al-Fatah “Army of Conquest” announced on Friday early morning that it completely took over the strategic town of Kinsabba, Tallal al-Sheikh Yousef hill, and Shalaf village as well as its castle and hill in Kurds Mountain in Lattakia countryside. Earlier on Thursday night, Jaysh al-Fatah retook several villages that had been captured by the regime forces after conducting intense shelling on these areas.
In addition to retaking Kinsabba, the rebels liberated the villages of Ain al-Qantara, Ard al-Wata, and the hills of al-Sheikh Yousef, Shalaf, and Abu Assad, after fierce clashes that started on Thursday evening and continued until Friday morning on several fronts in Kurds and Turkmen mountains. The clashes resulted in the death and injury of a number of the regime soldiers.
The rebels also repelled an attack by the regime forces on al-Malik hill in Kurds Mountain, which resulted in several casualties and material losses among the attacking forces.
Meanwhile, the rebels carried out heavy tank and artillery shelling on the regime forces in the area, which was synchronized with artillery and missile shelling by the regime on Kurds and Turkmen mountains as well as the western countryside of Idlib.
