Regime's Doctors Steal the Sight of Its Supporters

Hiba Muhammed, Baladi News, Aleppo

Pro-regime media sources confirmed injuring 20 young men and women with permanent blindness in the city of Aleppo after entering into one of the medical centers for Ophthalmology, indicating that the management of the medical center obscured its crime after agreeing and coordinating with the regime.

The pro-sources pointed out that the center is called "LASIK Center for Ophthalmology", managed by the doctor "Obada Al-Mufti" which is located in the region opposite to Al-Risaleh hospital in the city of Aleppo, where more than 20 young men and women have lost their sight due to the use of commercial and expired drugs.

Intensive comments after announcing the blindness' injuries considered that the medical center and its cadres are only interested in robbery and collecting money. So the Syrian young men were the lucrative commercial card as they handed over their sight to the immoral medical staff.

Some of the wounded relatives narrated how the injuries took place by saying: "the incident started by losing a few degrees in the wounded eyesight, so some of them decided to undergo a LASIK operation in order to get a better vision and in the first incident 7 patients were injured at once".

However, the medical center tried to conceal the incident resulting from the lack of sterilization of medical materials, as well as the use of expired and commercial materials, while Dr. "Moataz Kawas," an ophthalmologist in Al-Hikmeh hospital, worked on damaging the corneas of several other patients, and in both cases the patients got infected with permanent blindness.

According to the regime loyalists, most of the wounded are university students, not older than 20 years in addition to a number of children. It should be noted that the medical center is still working in full swing paying no heed to the diseases it inflicted to a large number of men and women.
