More than 45 Iranian militants were killed, meanwhile a Hezbollah fighter was captured on Friday, when Jaysh al-Fatah repelled an attempt by the Iranian militias to advance towards Khalsa and El Houaiz villages in Aleppo southern countryside.
Before launching the comprehensive attacks, the Iranian militias bombed the rebel-held positions in Khalsa under the cover of Russian air strikes with cluster and phosphorous bombs. However, the Iranian militias attempt to advance on the ground failed, and 30 casualties were inflicted on them. In El Houaiz, on the other hand, 15 Iranian militants were killed with a remotely controlled missile.
It is worth mentioning that the Iranian militias have been attempting to capture Khalsa, because of its strategic importance, because controlling it in full by the rebels means automatic fall of Birnah and Zitan towns.
