Russian warplanes continued to bombard the civilian neighborhoods of Aleppo even after Moscow's announcement of a cease-fire truce for 48 hours.
Regime forces along with Russian warplanes bombarded, since the early hours of the truce, "Midera, Daret Izzeh, and Ainjarah" in the western countryside of Aleppo using stereochemistry missiles as well as targeting the town of Kafr Hamra with 4 airstrikes that led to a number of casualties among civilians. All that came in conjunction with the regime forces' bombardment with missiles launchers on the towns of Ainjarah and Kubtan Al-Jabal.
Yasser Houmaidy, the lieutenant colonel pilot and the commander of Jonoud Al-Rahman brigade in Aleppo sees that the announcement of the truce by Russia and the Syrian regime came after a series of defeats inflicted the Syrian regime and its allies on the fronts of Handarat camp and Al-Mallah region north of Aleppo along with the fronts of the southern countryside of Aleppo in addition to the killing of hundreds of regime forces' members and the supporting Iranian and Afghani militias. "The truce today is only a phase of rearrangement and reconsideration of the repeated defeats," he added.
The lieutenant colonel went on saying: "We can say that Russia wanted the truce in order to be fully occupied in some fronts in the southern countryside of Aleppo under the pretext of fighting Al-Nusra Front".
He also pointed out that Russia and the Syrian regime are murderers and noted that the Russian warplanes will continue to bombard the residential houses and kill civilians with or without a truce. Moreover, they will continue to bombard the headquarters of the Free Army which they consider as strongholds for Al-Nusra and terrorists, but by such actions of killing the civilians and shelling the residential areas, Russia is to be the terrorist.
In his turn, Abu Ousama, a group commander of the first batch in Aleppo said that Russia steps up its bombardment on the residential areas after each truce.
He added in an interview with Baladi News: "we no longer wait for any goodness to come from such truces; we had enough of the previous ones as all we witnessed was only massacres against civilians. Russia had been documenting the rebels' violations in the previous truces, but forgot the crimes they themselves committed with the Syrian regime against civilians".
Abu Ousama asserted that Russia and the Syrian regime did and will not commit to any truce and they will continue killing the civilians day and night.
In the same context, Saif Ghadab, a militant in the Free Army in Aleppo said: "Which truce are we talking about?! Hours after its announcement, regime forces and Russian warplanes have escalated their bombardment on the city of Aleppo and its countryside".
"They decide to bomb and kill us whenever they want and the situation applies to the truces too. You have seen in the previous truces how they committed massacres against civilians", he added. He also noted that people of Aleppo feel afraid when they hear of a truce by Russia as everyone knows the massacres that it will commit after the truce.
"Russia and the regime will not abide by the truce as they did in the previous times; they have the right to bomb us, but we are not allowed to defend ourselves. Humaimam center, as usual, sees only the violations by the rebels and turns a blind eye to the violations carried out by Russian warplanes and regime forces", he concluded
