Baladi News – Aleppo (Ziad al-Halabi)

A family of 6 civilians was killed in an airstrike by the international coalition warplanes on al-Shabali village in Aleppo eastern countryside.

A local source informed Baladi News that Mr. Khaled al-Sami as well as his wife and four children were killed in an air strike that targeted the village on Thursday morning.

On the other hand, fierce clashes are taking place between the Islamic State militia and Syria’s Democratic Forces (SDF) at the outskirts of Manbij city, causing a massive wave of displacement among civilians.

The Forces are surrounding the city from three sides, blocking the road to Jarablus in the north and al-Raqqa in the south, which left one route only for the Islamic State fighters towards Al-Bab city located at 38 km distance.

In its advancement, the attacking forces utilized the air cover provided by the international coalition air forces against the headquarters of the Islamic state in the city. The U.S military command in the Middle East confirmed this coordination, indicating that in support of the attack, 105 air strikes were conducted against Islamic State targets.
