3 militants of "Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement" were assassinated today by an explosive device exploded under their feet near a brick factory in the countryside of Idlib.
In the same context, Ibrahim Mustafa Aba'as, the military commander of Ahrar Al-Sham movement, was assassinated on Saturday night by unknown assailants after the explosion of an explosive device in his car on the road connecting the towns of " Talamnas " and "Maar Shurin" near Maarrat al-Nu'man in the countryside of Idlib.
Dr. Omar Al-Jounaidy, a commander in the movement said in an interview with Baladi News: "Everyone knows that the movement is fighting extremism in the liberated areas as well as standing as a stumbling block against the security actions taken by ISIS in the liberated areas".
"The first strike was to assassinate the first and second ranks in the movement aiming at eradicating it, but they were astonished by the alternative cadres the movement has for future and there is always persistent efforts for the cadres to be at the highest levels", he added.
He concluded his interview saying: "We promise the Syrian people to remain steadfast and patient and to abide by the covenant we took upon ourselves, whereas Abu Khalil, the assassinated commander, he was a kind and polite leader and we accuse ISIS and Syrian regime of assassinating him".
