The death toll of the Syrian regime and Russian air forces attacks against Aleppo city and countryside on Friday reached 60, including women and children. Meanwhile, other 5 civilians were killed in vacuum missiles shelling on Kafr Hamrah in the northern countryside. The attacks caused formidable destruction to residential buildings and public properties.
In the details, rebel sources reported the death of 14 people, including women and children, when Russian war planes targeted their bus on Castello road north from Aleppo, meanwhile one civilian was killed in Qanater village in the west in two airstrikes by the Syrian regime that wounded others.
In Aleppo city, 7 civilians were killed in al-Ansari, 8 in Kallasa, 7 in al-Saliheen, and 4 in al-Marja in airstrikes that also wounded others and resulted in big damages to buildings.
On the other hand, 5 people were killed and dozens others were injured in attacks by the Islamic State on Khirbat Ar Rous village after taking it by “Syrian Democratic Forces”. The organization also waged a fierce attack from several directions on the rebel-controlled city of Mare’ in attempt to take it.
Rebel forces declared that they killed a senior Iranian commander, but did not reveal his identity and his military rank, indicating that 10 Shiite militants supporting the regime forces were captured and more than 30 others were killed in battles north from Aleppo.
The rebels also gained control over Ma’arata village in the north east of Khan Touman as well as Qarasi hills, Khan Touman Warehouses, and the tank battalion, approaching the strategic town of Khanasir, which is an important stronghold of the Shiite militias in Aleppo southern countryside.
In Idlib, one civilian was killed and others were wounded in Russian airstrikes against Saraqib city east from Idlib on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, a woman and four men were killed in Al-Tamanah and Khan Shaykhun respectively in Idlib southern countryside. The airstrikes also targeted the environs of Al-Fu'ah, al-Rouj Plain, and the villages of Kreiz, Kinda and Iblin, but no casualties resulted.
In the western countryside of Damascus governorate, the second batch of the UN relief convoy was allowed to enter the city of Muadamiyat al-Sham in the west, including 17 cars loaded with 4500 food baskets and 9000 flour bags out of 1200 that were decided to be delivered to the besieged city, because the regime forces seized a part of them. Meanwhile, airstrikes were conducted on the Druze village of Maghar al-Mir as well as Beit Jann.
The residents of Eastern Ghouta of Damascus demonstrated to emphasize that the revolution will continue and called on the rebel fractions to unite and retake the areas that they lost recently.
In Hamah, air strikes were carried out by the regime forces against the cities of Kafr Zita, Murak, and Al-Lataminah as well as the villages of Zaka, al-Arbaeen, Hasraya, Hirbnafsah, Aqrab, and al-Zara, which caused big damages to the houses. The villages of al-SatHiyyat area were targeted by the Syrian regime artillery positioned on scientific research mountain. In response, the rebels fired Katyusha rockets on the headquarters of Shabiha militias west of Mahardeh in the northern countryside.
In Homs, the Syrian regime conducted airstrikes against Izz al-Din and al- wazi'yya that caused slight injuries. Whereas, the rebels could repel the regime attacks on Tardin and Tallat Sanad in Kurd Mountains, which were accompanied by Russian airstrikes.
In Al-Suwayda in the south, the Syrian regime conducted airstrikes on several areas in the eastern desert, which caused the death of a Cattle truck driver whose identity was unrecognized.
