‘Hussain Nawfal’ the head of the General Committee of Forensic Medicine in the regime government declared through many pro-regime media sites that the death toll has increased by 30% in the regime-held areas compared to the years before 2011.
“The death toll by heart attacks and strokes was 40% before 2011, while it reached today 70% of all deaths” says Nawfal. Dozens of regime supporters commented on Nawfal's declarations by saying that it’s inevitable to have heart attacks and strokes under such horrible economic conditions; the rents are extremely high to an extent that can't be afforded by any normal citizen and the country is totally stricken.
‘Muhammed al-Maidany’ a media activist, believes that this propaganda is being used by the regime in order to escape the consequences of the policy they have been practicing since the outbreak of Syrian revolution in 2011 in which they “kill the Syrians then mourn them”.
“The same authorities that follow such a policy have been killing and slaughtering Syrians for six years. The regime is the only one responsible for demolishing entire cities by barrel bombs and missiles” added ‘Muhammad al-Maidany’.
Al-Maidany also wondered “Isn’t that who is talking about “strokes” being increased the same one who fanned the flames of sectarian war in Syria?! Isn’t he who brought the enemies to our country: Russians, Iranian, Hezbollah and many more?! The same one who paid no heed for deliberately killing 500 thousand Syrians is now grieving over those dying by “strokes” that are increasing because of the miserable conditions the regime brought in”.
‘Omar Muhammad’ a Syrian Journalist, thinks that it is quite obvious that the Syrian citizen is struggling to survive every single day facing poverty, hunger, and loses of beloved ones. These hardships are causing so much grief and sorrow which lead to heart attacks and strokes.
Mohammad pointed out that the grief and sorrow of the Syrian citizen is beyond description; some have seen their own children buried under the rubble of their destroyed houses, while others have lost all of their life savings. A new agony is born every day causing the loss of another dear person.
The Journalist also noted that the Syrian regime bares total responsibility for everything happening in Syria. Had Assad wanted any good for Syrians, he would have never killed them with all possible means. He would have never brought invaders to his country and his thugs would have never continued the policy of “Either Assad or A Destroyed Country”.
