Baladi New – Idlib (Saleh Abu-Ismail)

More than 20 civilians were killed and dozens were injured on Monday evening in Russian air strikes on Idlib city. The death toll is likely to rise due to the acute conditions of the wounded.
A local source told Baladi News that Russian war planes targeted 9 civilian locations inside the city, which caused formidable destruction in the vital facilities.
Casualties were taken to the national hospital by civil defense teams that were on alert in the city as well as the neighboring area to rescue civilians, search for the wounded and pull the victims trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The source added that it is not possible to determine the exact death toll, because the shelling was conducted on dispersed areas in the north, east, and south by the Russian war planes that were still hovering over the area.
Observatories around Idlib city and countryside declared that the National Hospital went out of order. It is worth mentioning that all targeted areas are non-military facilities including mosques, hospitals and residential complexes.
