A loyalist is a Syrian person who has chosen to stand by the Assad regime in suppressing the Syrian revolution which calls for freedom, dignity and human justice, regardless of his religion, sect or gender. He is no match for the "Thug" and inferior to him as the thug carries a weapon, whereas the loyalist is a "civilian" who supports Assad's regime with his sayings, his heart and actions without carrying arms.
Assad's loyalists don't belong to a particular religion, sect or a political ideology; they are of different sects, races and ideologies; from the clergymen to politicians of all orientations, from the extreme right to the extreme left, reaching people in the lowest ranks and professions of society.
With the outbreak of the revolution, they determined their attitude to stand with the murderer and chose particular areas to reside in which are for sure regime-held areas, especially in Tartus, Latakia or Hama while others preferred to stay in Damascus. On the other hand, a great deal of them exploited the war and crossed the Mediterranean to the dreamlike heaven; Europe, to reside there under the pretext of fleeing ISIS.
As for those who couldn't afford the trip and out of their alleged Patriotism, they stuck in their tents and rented houses in the regime-held areas, where they live among their hosts who they continue to label as terrorists and terrorism supporters, however, they exploit them under the deteriorating economic situation by renting them houses with skyrocketing prices, not to forget the looting and sexual assaults as they are above accountability.
Such loyalists have always been the supporting actors necessary for the continuing series of suppressing the Syrian revolution by Assad's regime and his Russian ally as some bombings must happen among them targeting their residential areas to be exploited later on a political level. Such bombings happened dozens of times in the pro-regime regions of Homs and its villages along with Latakia, Tartus and the regime-held neighborhoods of Aleppo, not to forget the deliberate killing of a number of pro-regime famous figures aiming at accusing the revolution and rebels of absurd murder as they killed Sheikh Ramadan Al-Bouti and the son of their Grand Mufti Sariya Al-Hassoun and many others.
