Germany: The Iranian Resistance demand eviction of Iran regime from Syria

People Mojahedin of Iran

Iranian Resistance supporters in Germany gathered on Tuesday, May 17 in Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate to denounce the Iranian regime’s military involvement in Syria fighting for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

They strongly condemned the bombing and massacre of civilians in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, and they declared the solidarity and support of Iranian people for the brave people of Syria and their democratic opposition movement

The PMOI (MEK) supporters in Germany also denounced the recent spate of executions in Iran.

They pointed out that since Hassan Rouhani took office as president of the mullahs’ regime, the human rights situation in Iran has drastically deteriorated.

At least 97 people have been executed in Iran since April 10. Three of those executed were women and one is believed to have been a juvenile offender.

There have been more than 2,300 executions during Rouhani’s tenure as President. The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Iran in March announced that the number of executions in Iran in 2015 was greater than any year in the last 25 years. Rouhani has explicitly endorsed the executions as examples of “God’s commandments” and “laws of the parliament that belong to the people.”

The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ) described the inviting of Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) talks in Vienna on Tuesday as 'tantamount to asking an arsonist to take part in putting out the fire.'

'The Iranian regime has been the main reason for the Assad dictatorship's survival. Without the mullahs’ massive military

intervention and full-fledged support for Assad, his regime would have been overthrown a long time ago,' said the NCRI's Shahin Gobadi in a statement to The Local Austria.
