Baladi News – Deir Al-zour (Kinan Sultan)
ISIS organization took control over several areas in the south west of Deir Al-zour city, including the residential facilities, Panorama Roundabout, and Al Sultan Company. During the clashes that took place on Thursday, the organization killed Brigadier General in the regime forces Bassam Jawhara from Banias in Tartous governorate, whereas 8 regime soldiers left their posts near Panorama roundabouts towards ISIS-held areas, where they are thought to have surrendered to ISIS according to local media.
Meanwhile, the regime air forces carried out several airstrikes against the areas that are outside its control to stop ISIS attempts to take the remaining regime-held districts in the city.
