The Syrian Opposition Factions backed by Turkish troops have gained advance against Assad regime forces and captured several sites and villages in Idlib's eastern countryside.
Backed by Turkish artillery, the opposition factions recaptured the village of Afes and other sites near the city of Saraqeb, Baladi News correspondent reported.
During the military operations, the opposition factions destroyed several tanks, vehicles and ordnances that belonged to Assad regime forces and Russian militias.
Moreover, the factions seized two tanks, a BMP vehicle, and many other vehicles, as well as light and medium arms and ammunition.
That operation led to breaking the siege of a Turkish observation post in that area, which was has been under siege by Assad regime forces and their supporting militias since the beginning of February.
It's noteworthy that the opposition factions backed by Turkish troops launched, Wednesday, a military operation, through which they recaptured the city many villages east of Idlib, in order to recapture Saraqeb in later stages.
