Despite the extension of the uneasy cease-fire for additional 72 hours, the regime and Russian forces continued shelling several towns in Aleppo countryside, killing 8 civilians in total. Fierce clashes between the rebels and ISIS militants took place on Sunday morning after attempts by the group to storm several villages in Aleppo northern countryside, which caused 10 casualties from ISIS.
Aleppo southern countryside witnessed ongoing combats between Jaish Al-Fatah and the Iranian militias trying to regain control over areas that they had lost earlier.
In Homs, Russian air forces conducted raids on the ancient castle of Qasr Al-Hayr Al-Sharqi. Meanwhile, Al Muhr gas field, west from Palmyra city, burned after continued heavy shelling by ISIS.
In Hama, a number of the Syrian regime soldiers were killed in an ambush near Al-Sarmania in Al-Ghab Plain. Three others were dead while trying to plant a bomb in the out skirts of Al-Aziziya village. Meanwhile, a number of civilians were killed, including three children from one family in Al-Twina village.
In relation to the ongoing insurgency of the detainees in Hama prison, sources indicated that Jaysh Al-Fatah started negotiations with the regime to settle the issue.
In Damascus countryside, Jaysh Al-Islam gained control over Misraba town in Eastern Ghouta, whereas Western Ghouta witnessed dropping of 10 barrel bomb on the farms surrounding the town of Khan Al-Shih as well as artillery shelling.
