The Province of Gaziantep in south Turkey has mourned a Turkish soldier, Saturday, who was killed by Assad regime's shelling in Idlib, according to the province administration, without specifying the accurate date and place of this shelling.
Turkish Ministry of Defense revealed that it retaliated by destroying dozens of Assad regime positions in the area.
The Turkish army has targeted 21 positions belong to the regime forces, following the death of the Turkish soldier, and all targets were completely destroyed, the Ministry of Defense said.
Last Thursday, the ministry announced two Turkish soldiers were killed and others injured by airstrikes that targeted their camp near Idlib city.
It is noteworthy that artillery and missile strikes are taking place on a daily basis between the Turkish military bases and the regime forces' camps, which strikes resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.
