Two civilians have been killed and many others injured by Russian warplanes which carried out several airstrikes in the city of al-Atareb in Aleppo's western countryside, Baladi News correspondent reported.
Meanwhile, thousands of civilians have fled the city to the neighbouring villages, while others have fled to the unknown, Baladi correspondent added.
He pointed out that Civil Defence teams are still looking for survivors under the rubble.
According to Baladi correspondent, the death toll in Aleppo raised to 16 civilians, distributed as follows:
10 civilians in Kafr Nouran, 2 in al-Atareb, 3 near Uram al-Sughra, and 1 in Ketian village.
On December 28, the regime forces backed by Iranian militias and Russian warplanes have started a brutal military campaign in the western countryside of Aleppo.
