The Assad regime forces backed by Iranian militias constricted a Turkish observation post, Monday, blocking Aleppo-Lattakia highway (M4) after capturing new swathes in Idlib's southeastern countryside.
Following fierce clashes between the regime forces and rebel factions, as well as intensified aerial and ground bombardment by the regime forces, the former captured al-Trunbe village, getting too close to take control over the M4 highway, Baladi News correspondent reported.
The regime forces captured the village of al-Neirab, near Sarmin in southeastern Idlib, after constricting the new Turkish observation post, Baladi correspondent said.
It's noteworthy that on Sunday night the Turkish troops have established a new military post on the M4 highway, near al-Trunbe village, and this coincided with the advance of Russian and regime forces towards Saraqib city in Idlib.
A military source of the National Fron for Liberation informed Baladi News that the regime forces backed by Iranian militias and Russian warplanes plan for full mobilization in order to control Taftanaz military airport in Idlib's countryside.
