Syrian Red Crescent received 30 detainees who were released on Tuesday evening from the central prison of Hama after acts of riot that lasted for two days.
One of the prison detainees confirmed to Baladi News that 30 prisoners were released by regime forces and handed over to Syrian Red Crescent teams who, in turn, will take them to the liberated areas in exchange for breaking the rebellion in Hama's central prison.
Regime forces brought many groups and heavy machine guns in order to besiege the prison's building, the thing that strengthened the detainees will to continue their rebellion until they achieve their goals, including releasing 200 "prisoners of conscience" and stop implementing the death sentence against five of them, he added.
He also reiterated that the main reason behind regime's compliance with detainees' demands is the ongoing rebellion along with targeting the pro-regime villages by the rebels.
The detainee urged the revolutionary factions to continue targeting the regime forces strongholds as the regime forces resort to communicate with detainees at each raid carried out by the rebels.
It's noteworthy that the central prison of Hama has been witnessing an ongoing rebellion for two days carried out by detainees inside the prison in order to nullify the death sentence against five of their fellow prisoners.
