Free Aleppo Governorate Council announced a state of emergency in the city due to the heavy air strikes of the Russian and Syrian air forces.
According to the council, this step aims at keeping citizens and meeting their needs during this fierce attack against the governorate.
The city of Aleppo and its country side have witnessed heavy air strikes by the Russian and Syrian air forces for the tenth days in row.
According to the Director of the Civil Defense Office in Aleppo, Ibrahim Al-Haj, “Syrian regime warplanes targeted several areas in the city of Aleppo and its countryside including the towns of Hayyan, Bayanon, Al Mallah, Kafr Hamrah, Al-Layramoun and its galleries, Bani Zaid, Huraytan, and the Castello road connecting the city to its northern countryside.”
In the western countryside, the areas of Jamiat Abu Amsha, Mafraq Aouijl, Kafr Naha, and Reef al-Mohandeseen were hit.
Furthermore, 17 civilians were injured due to the warplane strikes against Hobar, AL-Eis, and Rojam Aamairate in the countryside.
It is also worth mentioning that the regime fighter aircrafts targeted the residential areas of the city with 70 barrel bombs and 18 GGM missiles in 260 attacks over the final week of last month.
