BALADI NEWS
The Syrian opposition factions have announced Thursday
morning the beginning of a major ground offensive against several axes
controlled by the Assad regime forces and their supporting militias in Idlib’s
eastern and southern countryside, Baladi News correspondent learnt from
military sources.
Baladi correspondent added that the factions have started
their offensive with intensive artillery and rocket bombardment, whereas a car
bomb targeted a gathering of the regime forces in the town of al-Tah, without
reporting the number of casualties, or any advance for the factions.
It’s noteworthy that the opposition factions early this week
launched a similar offensive, where they destroyed several artillery and
armored vehicles and killed around 40 members of the regime forces on the axis
of Jarjanaz in Idlib’s eastern countryside.
