The Syrian opposition factions have launched a counter attack Tuesday on the areas captured Monday night by the Assad militias together with Russian and Iranian forces in southeastern Idlib.
Baladi News correspondent said that opposition factions attacked the regime forces in Farwan and Jerjanaz, where the opposition fighters destroyed several tanks and vehicles belonged to the regime forces, and killed and injured dozens of them.
The clashes came in conjunction with intensified flights of Russian warplanes and Assad helicopters which carried out dozens of airstrikes on the liberated areas, alongside with intensified artillery shelling.
It's noteworthy that the regime forces have taken control over the city of Jerjanaz, following hundreds of airstrikes.
