Syrian opposition factions have retaken Friday evening four strategic villages in Idlib's eastern countryside which were captured by Assad regime forces in the morning of the same day.
A military source said to Baladi News that following a counter attack, the opposition factions retook the villages of Tal al-Sheih, Sahal, Abu Habbeh and al-bresah in Idlib's southern countryside.
During the battle of retaking Sahal village, the opposition fighters killed 33 elements of Assad regime forces and the sectarian militias which support them, injured dozens of them and seized a BMB vehicle, the source pointed out.
He said that clashes are still going in the area, amid intensified bombardment by the Assad-Russian alliance.
The opposition fighters are fighting valiantly, thwarting all regime forces' attempts to advance, and causing them big losses in lives and equipment, the source indicated.
