# حلب-تحترق(Which means Aleppo- is-Burning) is ranked first globally on the social network "Twitter" with more than half a million tweets, according to Anatolia News Agency. The hashtag was tweeted 585 thousand times in the world and in Egypt till 19:40 Cairo time (17:40 GMT), while the same hashtag in English #Aleppo- is-Burning didn't earn a high ranking among the most trending hashtags on Twitter.
Hashtag حلب_تناديكم# (which means Aleppo-is-Calling-for-your-help) ranked third in Saudi Arabia exceeding 80 thousand tweets till the time mentioned above.
The tweets reported pictures, news and comments regarding what was considered " a severe deterioration of the situations inside Aleppo", criticizing Western and Arab regimes along with Syrian regime.
Acts of hostilities in the city of Aleppo have escalated as a result of the massive bombardments by Syrian and Russian warplanes on the city's neighborhoods. Not only civilians were targeted by the warplanes, but also hospitals and health facilities, in addition to a deterioration in the humanitarian conditions. In its turn, UN has expressed its concern over what's happening in Aleppo and considered targeting the hospitals as "a flagrant violation of international law".
