Many of troops of Assad forces including an officer were killed and others were injured Monday as they attempted to advance against the opposition factions in the fronts of Idlib's eastern countryside.
"The opposition factions repelled on Monday morning, several attempts by the regime forces, Iran and Russian forces to advance on the axes of Rasm al-Ward and al-Srouj in the eastern countryside of Idlib," Baladi News correspondent reported.
During the clashes many troops of the regime forces were killed, but the toll is still unknown, the correspondent added.
Meanwhile, the officer who leads the operations on the same fronts was sipped by the opposition fighters.
On Sunday evening, the opposition factions destroyed the operations room of the regime forces from which they lead their in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
It is noteworthy that the Russian and regime forces lost more than 150 elements, including five high-ranking officers during the fighting in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
