Two civilians were killed, one of them is a child, while many others were injured by the bombardment of Russian warplanes and Assad helicopters which targeted cities and villages in the southern countryside of Idlib, Baladi News correspondent said.
A Russian warplane fired high-explosive missiles on the town of Karsaa in Idlib's southern countryside, killing two civilians, and wounding many others, the correspondent pointed out.
Civil Defence' teams pulled the dead and rescued the wounded to the nearest medical points, according to Baladi correspondent.
Another civilian was injured by the airstrikes of the same warplanes in the town of Ibleen, in the same countryside, the correspondent added.
The warplanes intensified their airstrikes on other cities and villages in Idlib's countryside, causing massive destruction in the targeted areas.
Baladi correspondent said that Assad helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the outskirts of Kafrunbel, and many other cities in South Idlib, without reporting casualties among civilians.
The cities and towns of Idlib's southern, eastern and western countrysides are going under barbaric ground and aerial shelling campaign by Russian warplanes and Assad artillery, as well as Assad forces' rocket launchers which are located in the countrysides of Hama and Latakia.
