The official spokesman for the Syrian National Army, Major "Yousef Al-Hamoud", revealed the number of the National Army's fighters who will participate in the forthcoming operation "East of Euphrates".
"About 14,000 fighters from the National Army will participate in the forthcoming battle, as previously announced, and the National Army is ready to deploy more fighters if required," Hamoud told Baladi News.
"The goal of National Army's participation in the battle is to help the return of displaced people to their homes from inside Syria and abroad and to stop the militias from terrorizing the people in the region," he said.
A Turkish military source has revealed that the forthcoming military operation has been called "the spring of peace" and that it will be launched in the following two days.
On Sunday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has received military reinforcements in the city of Raas al-Ein, amid a state of security alert along the Syria-Turkey borders.
In the same context, The Turkish forces continue sending military reinforcements to the Turkish state of Urfa near the Syrian city of Tal Abyad.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that his country is ready to launch the military operation east of Euphrates very soon.
