Thirteen civilians have been killed and their bodies were trapped under the rubble as Russian warplanes shelled the city of Maarat Al-Numan in Idlib's southern countryside Wednesday night.
"After 6 hours of working, the civil defence teams pulled 13 civilians including two women and six children, and rescued 32 injured including 10 women and 6 children," Mostafa Ghareeb, a media activist said to Baladi News.
A Russian warplane type SU 24 fired 12 thermobaric bombs at one time on the city of Maarat Al-Numan, Baladi News correspondent pointed out.
More than 145,000 people live in Maarat Al-Numan, of them are 35,000 displaced people who all suffer the daily Assad and Russian brutal bombardment.
