Russian warplanes targeted the hospital of al-Ghadfeh which is supported by SAMS medical association in town in Idlib's countryside with high explosive missiles, rendering it out of service.
On Tuesday at 10:35 Damascus time, a Russian warplane targeted the western neighborhoods of the town, and hit the hospital directly with high-explosive missiles, the Activist Qusai al-Hussian said to Baladi News.
The shelling resulted in the injury of two personnel of the medical team, and a civilian who was near the hospital. It also rendered the hospital out of service completely due to the massive destruction and the damage of all the equipment, the activist added.
The hospital used to have gynecology clinic as well as pediatricians, where more than 500,000 people used to get medical care in it, al-Hussain pointed out, conforming that the hospital was supported by the Syrian American Medical Association SAMS, and is under the supervision of Health Directorate in Idlib.
It's noteworthy that Russian warplanes have targeted more than 29 hospitals and medical centres in the Syrian north in the past few month.
