With the Russian warplanes disappeared into thin air during the ongoing battles in Aleppo among rebels, Iranian Revolutionary Guard elite forces, militias of "Al-Nujaba" Shiite movement as well as the Lebanese Hezbollah, are left to face their grim fate at the hands of rebels' Brigades, where dozens of Iranian commandos and their militias ended up feeling the battle after being defeated by the rebels.
Media activist "Abou Al-Baraa'" confirmed to Baladi news the absence of any affective role of Russian aircrafts during Tal Al Eies battle yesterday in the southern countryside of Aleppo, with only one raid launched by a Russian jet, while regime warplanes participated heavily in the battle, but this didn’t really change anything on the ground.
"Iranian elite forces were not different from Assad's forces or the rest of their mercenaries when the Russian aircrafts were absent, as dozens of them were killed before retreating from the battle with a huge defeat on all military levels. On the other hand, Al-Nusra Front, Ahrar Al-Sham movement, and the rest of the Free Syrian Army factions fought fiercely in an unprecedented way in the southern countryside of Aleppo", added the activist.
The source pointed out that the absence of any effective role by the Russian warplanes was in the interest of rebels who managed to absorb the initial shock of the violent attack. The moment the Russian warplanes withdrew from the battle, rebels regained control and restored the areas they had lost.
"After hours of grinding fights that took place in Al-Eis town in the southern countryside of Aleppo, Russian warplanes disappeared and bombing stopped, while a state of unstable calmness swept over the town, revealing dozens of bodies scattered along the town, the most of which belonged to Iranian and Afghan militias and members of Hezbollah", added the source.
The activist went on saying" "More than seventy Shiite militants were killed yesterday in the largest military campaign launched on the town of Al-Eis, in which all factions stead fasted against bombardment, raids and missiles that paved the way for Iranian militias".
Many images of the scattered dead bodies of Shiite militias which were posted on social networking sites have shaken Assad's regime and his allies to their foundations, who thought that the Shiite militias would tip the scales on the ground and regain control of Al-Eis town and its strategy hill.
In return, the rebels lost 25 martyrs sacrificed their lives confronting Iranian and Shiites settlers those of whom are cheering for their grand battle in controlling Aleppo and the displacement of thousands of Aleppo's inhabitants along with the destruction of their property and their houses to support Assad and his soldiers.
