The opposition factions have shot down with anti-aircraft gun a Russian drone which was flying last night over Al-Ghab plain and Akrad mountain in Latakia's countryside, Baladi News correspondent reported.
The drone had taken off from Hmeimim military airport, the base which Russia uses to bomb civilians and opposition fighters.
The Russian drones are always flying over Idlib and the northwestern cities of Syria, in order to give the coordinates of opposition fighters as well as civilians, to be targeted by regime forces and Russian warplanes, Baladi News correspondent pointed out.
For more than 3 months, the Russian and Assad warplanes are launching airstrikes on a daily basis against civilians the countrysides of Idlib, Hama, Latakia and Aleppo, killing hundreds of civilians and injuring thousands.
