The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) released a report on Friday which says that a total of 589 people have been kidnapped and arrested in Syria, including 387 cases of enforced disappearance.
The report revealed that since the beginning of 2019, 3049 cases of arbitrary arrests have been documented.
The 589 cases in July include 38 children and 24 women who were arrested or forcibly disappeared by all the conflicting parts in Syria.
The reported indicated that 296 arrest cases were conducted by the Assad regime forces, including 16 children and 8 women, while 11 cases including a child were conducted by Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham. 277 cases including 18 children and 14 women were conducted by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and 55 cases including 3 children and 2 women were conducted by the Syrian opposition factions.
A report released by the SNHR back in April showed that regime forces have killed more than 14,000 that were held and tortured since the beginning of the war.
