A civilian has been injured Friday in Kafr Zeita's city of Hama due to Assad artillery shelling which targeted the city despite the ceasefire announced on Thursday August 1st in the fourth de-escalation zone which includes Idlib and its surroundings.
The regime forces targeted with rockets and artillery the towns of Latmin, Azzakat, al-Arbaeen, Zeizoun and the city of Kafr Zeita, Baladi News correspondent reported.
In response to that shelling, the opposition factions announced destroying a military bulldozer which belongs to the regime forces in Wadi Hasmin's axis, and targeting groups of the regime forces in the military camp of Jourin.
The Assad government yesterday Thursday August 1st agreed on a ceasefire in northwestern Syria if the safe zone agreement is being implemented.
This came in conjunction with the new peace talks round in Astana, where Russia has welcomed Assad government's decision.
