The Turkish army has dispatched on Wednesday more reinforcements to its units stationed on the Syrian border.
The military reinforcements were sent to southern Sanliurfa province, Anadolu Agency reported.
A 12-vehicle military convoy, including armored vehicles carrying commando units and buses, arrived in the province's Ceylanpinar district as part of Turkey's recent military reinforcements along the border with Syria.
The convoy entered the 1st Division Border Company Command accompanied by gendarmerie forces.
It's expected that the reinforcements will be deployed in several points adjacent to the Syrian border.
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar told his American counterpart on Monday that Turkey will have to form the safe zone in northern Syria by itself if it cannot come to an agreement with the U.S.
Akar pointed out that the safe zone should be 30 to 40 kilometers in width inside the Syrian territories, and that it should be controlled by Turkey, in coordination U.S.
