Several members of the regime forces have been killed and others injured Friday by the rocket shelling of the opposition factions which targeted Assad and Russia's militias in Hama's western countryside.
"The artillery battalions of the National Front for Liberation (NFL) have targeted Jourin military camp in Hama's countryside with several rockets and caused casualties among Assad and Russian militias," a source in the NFL told Baladi News.
The operation resulted in the destruction of a 122 mm artillery machine and the death of its crew which consisted of three members, while other militiamen were injured due to the explosion of the ammunition, the source added.
A few days ago, the NFL announced launching a rocket campaign against the regime forces, in response for the massacres committed by Assad and Russia in northwestern Syria.
More than 19 Assad and Russian troops have been killed since the start of the campaign, and many vehicles and depots have been destroyed in different areas of Hama.
