Assad forces detain women in Daraa

The Assad regime forces have detained women in Daraa provinc, Orient Net reported Daraa Martyrs Documentation Office as saying on Friday (July 19).

Military Security Branch and Air Force Intelligence detained on Wednesday and Thursday two women because they are relatives of former Free Syrian Army (FSA) leaders, Daraa Martyrs Documentation Office added according to Orient. 

Whereas the third woman was detained while coming back from Homs to Daraa, Orient said, citing the same source.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights records 127,916 currently detained or disappeared by the Assad regime since 2011 and says 14,000 prisoners have died as a result of torture.
