Russian forces withdrew from a town in Deir Ezzor and evacuated some military headquarters on Tuesday, local media reported.
Some of the Russian troops stationed in the town of Salhyie at the entrance to the city of Deir Ezzor withdrew from the area, Deir Ezzor24 news network reported.
The network pointed out that Russian forces control the towns of Salhyie and Husseinyie, and that there is a "reconciliation" center under the supervision of the Russians in Salhyie near the land crossing which links the Syrian Democratic Forces with the Assad regime forces.
It's noteworthy that Russian forces and Iranian militias share control over the entrances of Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria, and that the region has recently witnessed conflicts between the two parties to dominate the region, which conflicts resulted in casualties fell of both parties.
