Members of the Islamic State (ISIS) have attacked a U.S. base in the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in eastern Euphrates Tuesday.
Kurdish media sources reported that ISIS cells launched fierce attack in Al-Omar oil field, which considered as one of the biggest U.S. bases in the area.
During the attack, four members of the SDF have been killed and many troops of the US-led coalition have been injured, the source added.
In the same context, six SDF members have been killed and many others injured during an air landing operation which was conducted by the coalition troops in cooperation with SDF, to arrest an ISIS leader in Deir Ezzor.
The ISIS linked Amaq news agency reported that several fighters of the International Coalition have been killed during clashes with a member of the Islamic State which lasted for several hours and led to his death.
