The Assad's regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the town of Muhambal in Idib's southern countryside, killing fourteen civilians most of whom are women and children.
The Assad helicopters targeted the town in the evening of Saturday (July 5) with several barrel bombs, Baladi News correspondent said.
The Civil Defence' teams rushed to the site and have been removing the bodies trapped under the rubble until midnight, where they announced that the death toll is 14 civilians, mostly children, Baladi correspondent pointed out.
In a similar context, a woman has died and several other civilians has been injured by the airstrikes of Assad warplanes in the city of Khan Sheikhoun of the same countryside, according to Baladi correspondent.
The Assad warplanes and helicopters intensified their bombardment in the southern countryside of Idlib on Friday, causing massive destruction in the properties and forcing hundreds of civilians to flee their houses for a safer areas.
