The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced Monday the closure of the grain-receiving center north of Deir Ezzor, D24 network reported.
The D24 added that the SDF told the people that those who want to sell crops must transport them to al-Hasakah Governorate.
The network noted that the decision has aroused widespread anger and discontent in the cities and towns of Deir Ezzor countryside and was met with calls for a demonstration tomorrow against the decision of the SDF.
It is noteworthy that the harvest season of (wheat and barley) have not finished yet in many areas of Deir Ezzor, and many areas have witnessed large fires that have consumed large areas of agricultural lands.
