Dozens of Hezbollah militias have withdrawn Friday from the city of Albukamal in Deir Ezzor's eastern countryside.
On its Facebook Page, the Euphrates Post news network reported that 6 buses carrying members of Hezbollah with their full equipment, left Albukamal Friday towards Damascus the capital.
The reason of the Iran-backed militias' withdrawal is still unknown.
Iran controls the strategic city of Albukamal as it is considered as a connection point between the Iranian troops in Syria and Iraq.
The city has witnessed several clashes between the Iranian troops and The Assad regime forces and their loyal militias.
Albukamal city is the only crossing between Syria and Iraq controlled by Iran, as the crossings of Altanf and Yarubiyeh are contorlled by U.S-backed forces.
