A U.S. soldier has been killed by his injuries during clashes with members of the Islamic State organisation (Daesh) in eastern Deir Ezzor Thursday.
Other U.S. soldiers and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) during a landing operation in the city of AL-Shaheel, eastern Deir Ezzor.
The Euphrates Post news network said that it obtained information which confirms that the landing operation took place near the Carpets' factory in the city of AL-Shaheel, and it targeted several houses.
The operation lasted for more than 4 hours, and it was backed by helicopters and land forces, the network added.
The network pointed out that after clashing with the U.S and SDF forces, the Daesh members escaped to unknown place.
