More than 28 killed Wednesday after around 400 aerial and ground strikes by Assad-Russia alliance: SOHR

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documented the death of 17 civilians, Wednesday June 20, including 3 children.

The civilians were killed by the Assad-Russia alliance's bombardment in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The death toll is expected to rise because there are more than 50 injured people and some of them are in a critical situation, the SOHR said.

In the same context, it rose to 106, the number of raids carried out by the regime and Russia's warplanes since Wednesday morning targeting areas on the outskirts of Idlib and Hama, according to the war monitor. 

While it rose to about 300, the number of rocket shells launched by the regime forces since mid-night of Tuesday, on places in the southern countryside of Idlib and other places in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama.

The SOHR also documented the killing of 11 fighters of the factions and the jihadists including a commander and one of the relatives of Jaysh Al-Izza’s commander, who were killed by the airstrikes of the Russian warplanes which targeted a headquarter of them in Al-Lataminah town north of Hama, in addition to ground strikes on the contact areas at the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1755, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, until the 19th of June 2019, the SOHR pointed out.
